Learning solution provider company:
- Outlooksoft EAP reporting for the A/P Direct
Cash Flow system.
- Excel based reporting featuring drill-down,
detail/summary sheets, drop-down member selection, write-back, and
automation using excel VBA and Outlooksoft API.
- Assisted in resolving structural issues with
Accounts and Organization dimensions.
- Programmed the data transformation and sourcing
for the Outlooksoft system using MS SQL server DTS packages.
- Assisted team members with technical direction
and financial systems knowledge.
- Training and mentoring client employees.
DoD contractor:
- Optimized custom logic originally developed by
SAP Partner company. The review included inspection of current budgeting
process, Excel templates, Logic scripts, APPSET level settings, data
load, batch process, server settings, dimensions etc.
- Followed SAP recommendation first, by applying
appropriate OS and SQL server patches, upgrading BPC to version 5.1 and
applying application settings. Then, recommended ways to optimize the
applications by improving logic, utilizing EVDRE and other excel best
practices for Outlooksoft, dimensions make-up and usage based reporting
or partitioning.
- Also, advised optimal settings for the Send
Governor and Concurrent Lock settings.
Financial Services Company:
- Performed Outlooksoft system enhancement and
support.
- Created new measure in measures dimension,
created EVDRE reports, reports with comments (evComment), added new
statistical accounts with formulas with complex dependant solve orders.
- Added new data source in Data Source dimension.
- Modified custom business logic to produce
correct results.
- Provided optimization suggestions to other
Outlooksoft consultants so the logics can run faster.
- Worked with SAP Support to report issues and
bugs to find their resolutions and work-around.
